DID YOU KNOW!!! MY BAND HISTORY
Started out jamming in 2004 with a band in my garage once a week having a lot of fun then started understand music kept
trying to get better. Tried to do a lot of reading about gear and read some lessons on how to get better and learning
things here and there. It got to the point where we were thinking of starting to play out. So I went on to be
in two cover bands and since 2006 have been playing with my 3rd band of which I started the band is called Yellow Fin.
It is an Acoustic Duo. Much different than your full 4-5 member band. I thought it would be easier but it is actually
harder, but still a lot of fun.. See what the future brings..
"DOGHOUSE SESSIONS VOL: 1, LOCALIZED"
CD RELEASE A SMASH HIT!!!
After 6 months, many Lattes, and some elbow grease it becomes reality!! Doghouse
Sessions Vol: 1, Localized is complete. The CD Party was a hit and Doghouse is proud to present this vol:1 localized.
Over 100 people in attendance as things kicked off at 1:30pm. Eric Metzger hit the stage at 2pm playing some excellent
covers and trewating us to a couple of originals as well. He was followed by Sonny's Fault a very popular local cover
band that turned many heads during their performance. There was as pecial presentation to 5th grader Matthew Lutz Art
Designer of the Doghouse Vol:1 cover. He was presented with an autographed photo of his artwork signed by all musicians
in attendance. Yellow Fin closed out the night with 7 tunes and didn't disappoint!! Thank you to all that attendended

Doghouse is Working Overtime!!
With the time, date, and venue set, Doghouse is working hard to complete all the tracks that everyone recorded
and been living off Dunkins and no sleep!! Hopefully come April 28th, we will be happy with the final product and have
something to be very proud of!!
Doghouse Sessions Vol: 1, Comes to a Close- 3-10-07
With the close of the week, Doghouse shut off the mics, amps, and
other devices to complete its very 1st produced full length CD. With over 200 tracks recorded and various talented
musicians coming in and out of the doghouse in the last 3 months, it is now time to put it all together. "It
is very exciting hearing some of the raw tracks as there is some really good suff in there," states Owner/ Producer Dennis
Helkowski. Be sure to check for updates and get ready for the CD release party!! Doghouse Sessions Vol: 1 should
be hitting the shelves in late April.
Well Another slamin' night at Doghouse!!
Eric "the shredder" Metzger came, saw, and kicked ass!! He layed down several tracks including the number 1 track for
DS 2007 !! This is a sweet pic taken at the studio on 2-18-07.... The DS 2007 cd is scheduled to be released this
coming April... Be sure to check back daily for updates and as always please refer Doghouse to your friends...

The end of a very awesome local band!! Oregon Ave, my favorite local original band who I also had personal ties
with in college have called it quits. I was in depression mode to find out the hits off their cd will never be heard
live again. or will it?? um? Anyway their site has closed and their my space page, but if you would
like to purchase their self titled cd which absolutey rocks, with in your face guitars and just awesome hooks, melodies, and
lyrics all over the place, some might think they were fishing with those hooks, ok bad joke. But any way if interested
email Doghouse Studio and I can see about getting a cd and cost, I am sure the price has drop to liquidation prices.
Good luck to the OA band members you guys rock, I enjoyed every show all 7, I have seen were great!!

Yellow Fin (YF) to announce major change. The once full 5 piece band goes to 3 and becomes an acoustic style
band, check out http://yellowfinband.tripod.com . The band has begun weekly practices and hopes to be ready for shows come spring. Check back for up to date information.

This past weekend I had to pleasure to catch these guys live and just one word fits them "OUTSTANDING".
From their sound, to their playing ability, to their interaction with the people enjoying their music. A real treat
for all. Vast range of music that keeps eveyone into and all very well played. Besure to check out this local

I had the honor to jam with this band a few times and they are
just a rocking band. The originals they play are a cross between pop/ indie rock music, with amazing lyrics and music
melodies. They are all top notch musicians and are a lot of fun to see live. Their harmonies and song structures are
excellent. Pending on what night and venue you catch them out on, they may even though a few covers at you as well.
The band is very humble and enjoys to interact with their fans. The Tri-State area of local music is well represented by
the Dipsomanics.
Check out their lastest cd titled "Whatever
Planet" on sale now. An excellent cd (I give it a 4 out of 5) put out by www.facedown.net (Face Down Records) well produced and plenty of tracks to keep you entertained. Thanks for the Jam

"13 years" the single is in the works and being prepared for the fall/ winter cd release.

The song "13 years" written by Dennis Helkowski is being revised and you can expect to hear a nice well balanced heart
felt song. While the lyrics will remain the same, some of the music will be altered as well as a new vocal track added
and possibly some other guest musicians sitting in on the tracks as well. Looking to have the song complete by
summers end.

 "DW PROJECT" IS NUMBER 1 ON TOP 20 CHART.
After some hard work and long determined hours in the studio. The DW Project (Chris White
drummer/vocalists and Dennis Helkowski owner of Doghouse Studios and Guitar Player of Yellow Fin http://yellowfinband.tripod.com ) has their lastest cover amongest the top of the charts at DMUSIC a worldwide music community with over 10,000
musicians/ group postings. It was a true surprise to the guys as they were not aware a top 20 exsisted. Dennis
said,"Whether it is some guy in Utah listening to it over and over or a few people across the country, we are
still excited to be number 1 and that is pretty cool." Be sure to check back later this week and early next week
as the DW project plans to release two more covers before calling it quits, Lady and Beverly Hills.

Banned From Therapy - Records 4 tunes.
Local New Jersey cover Band who refer to themselves as "Banned From Therapy", have been working out of the Doghouse for
the past 3 weeks and working on their 2006 Demo CD to include 3 songs. You can hear 1 of 3 songs off their
demo in the download section. One more session is needed for the band to get their Demo complete and the release date
is TBD. You can see them playing live all over New Jersey.

Doghouse Studios (c) 2005 will be producing and releasing "DOGHOUSE SESSIONS VOL. 1
LOCALIZED" This cd will feature 8-9 tracks of local musicians two tracks have already been selected and Owner/
Producer Dennis Helkowski Hopes to have this cd released by Spring of 2007. "This is a very cool project and their

Singer, Shredder, Songwriter, and the very talented Eric Metzger came and left. He recorded a single
acoustically titled Confident. The track is located in the download section. It is the second single to
come out of Doghouse Studios. Eric really enjoyed the set up and the ablilty to get a nice sound with the equipment
Doghouse Studio had to offer... Owner Dennis Helkowski said,"It is a real honor to have someone of his ability down
to cut some tracks, and looking forward to having him back." He went on to add,"I am curious to see where this song
goes, it sounds awesome!"

Local Philly guitar player and singer making his way over the bridge!!
Oregon Ave Lead Singer/Guitar Player Eric Metzger is coming to Doghouse Studios to record new single to be released at
a date not specified.. Oregon Ave is one of the hottest local rock bands in Philadelphia. They recently
released a self titled CD that is getting excellent reviews and attracting many fans and record labels.. They currently
can be heard on the "Kicking It" movie soundtrack and on your radios dial at WMMR 94.1.

Doghouse Studios Produces first Single "13 Years" in Studio
Doghouse Studios and The DW Project got together to produce the first single to come out of Doghouse Studios
since the grand opening back in October. "We have recorded a lot of music since the opening but this was the first full
song completed here in the studio." said owner, Dennis Helkowski.. The Single was released 12-02-05 and has been a huge success.
The song has recieved excellent reviews and has been sold out.. More are in production and excpected to be released Tuesday
December 13th, 2005.
